Yes! Attending Reunion

I have mostly taught in public schools working with students who have learning challenges. I've had various other jobs as a meat cutter, bank adjuster, landscaper, and school librarian. I was married for 25 yrs. with many wonderful times together. My children and I love going to lighthouses and we've traveled to Maine, Washington, Oregon, Michigan, and Wisconsin following their path. I used to sing in a choir at a church I formally attended. I love to cook and today I am blazing a new frontier known as canning. I previously lived in Colorado in the western half. I have lived in Kansas in various small towns around the state. Kansas is a delightful place to live. My mom lives in Philadelphia and my sister lives in West Grove, Pa.

I made all of the above up. Doesn't it sound delightful? I have been incarcerated for most of my life after accepting a ride from a fellow classmate - Frank Carne who was in a car without the current registration. Then the police officer found an thin herb-type cigarette in my pants. I was taken down to the round house in central Philadelphia where the officers forgot that I was even in the holding cell. I had to walk home from that beautiful location, back to Mt. Airy where I arrived just minutes before my Dad awoke at 5AM. There I was safely tucked into bed.

Why are there no comments about our beloved classmate, Marc Abrams, other than mine & Richard Schwartz? Do doctors take an oath to be cold & heartless about someone who has done more to leave an impact on a neighborhood like L.A. than dear Marc. Why do we even care about reapolstering some meaningless auditorium chairs, when we have so little empathy for Marc.
That's why our country is so ducked up & THANK GOD I don't go to doctors!!!!!

School Story:

I remember a talk given by Victor Bockris, a former Centralite, urging students to do whatever it was that they desired and to put their dreams into action. That evening I ran away to New York City as I always wanted to live there and be a writer. I took the bus to NYC and was so over-whelmed by it's vastness. I was unable to find a job and ended up staying with my cousin and came back to Philadelphia.

Ronald nailed Allan's stunning qualities. I remember he wore a corduroy jacket at times & always looked handsome. I think I knew him from Debate Team, but the years have washed some memories too clean.

I was once in Marc's house back in McCloskey School days. I think the name of the street was Thouron. I had never been on that block before so it seemd a little different from Williams Ave. where I lived & Jeff Myers house whatever the name of that street was (Temple). I remembered this a few days ago & know America needs to know. Marc's Dad appeared old, like I'm picturing suspenders & a bent over look. His Mom was aggressive, like a C.O. Mom, "Commanding Officer Mom". She'd admonish him about dressing for the weather & he was complient with her. Being with Marc, was being with someone a notch smarter than you. Maybe I didn't read enough to complement his intellect. He was in the "A" track at McCloskey. !A, 2A, 3A up to 6A. I thought these were the smart kids & I was in the "B" track. I remember a cheerfulness about him back then. Wouldn't let you get too close to though. Lost track of Marc when he went to college in Pittsburgh. I once lost a suitcase on Trailways in Pittsburgh. Can anyone say "Monongahela River?

Howard. I will always associate you with being in Dr. Fuller's freshman history class. He would click his stone and say, "Ford." Just loved that. Your profile is the best!
