Ilan is married to Amanda Shafran. They live on the upper west side of Manhattan. Ilan is an attorney and sings in a capella groups on Shabbat.
Tali lives in Israel with her husband Rabbi Eric Ifrah, just had her sixth baby (four girls, two boys- aged newborn to 11), and are "charedi". She teaches in a women's seminary in Jerusalem. Eric is a rebbi in an American yeshiva in Jerusalem. Leora is still single, lives on the upper west close to her brother Ilan and is the director of merchandising for Burberry for North South and Central America. Ilan and Leora are "modern Orthodox". I am very proud of all of them.

After graduation from Central in 1969, I went to Temple University (graduated in 73) majored in Hebrew, minored in Psychology. Luckily, the Vietnam war had ended or I would have been drafted (#18 in the lottery). The next year I spent in a yeshivah in Jerusalem, became religious, and returned to Philadelphia to teach for the next five years in Akiba Hebrew Academy in Lower Merion. I also did a masters in education at Temple in those years. My last year at Akiba, I began commuting to NYC for a PhD program in Hebrew literature. The commuting lasted a year, after which I moved to Brooklyn, with my wife of two years, Shayne, finished my courses at Columbia earning the Mphil degree (never finished the PhD),and began working as a teacher at Yeshivah of Flatbush High School in 1980, eventually becoming A.P. In 1989, I was offered the Principalship of the Torah Studies department of the Lower Division at the Yeshivah of Flatbush, and have been there ever since. I am now the Head of the elementary school of the Yeshivah of Flatbush. I go to Israel to visit my family frequently.
