Barry Kardos

Have been involved in the psychology and neuropsychology fields since I left Central. I have worked for schools, hospitals, rehabilitation programs, correctional facilities, methadone and health clinics, courts, nursing homes and have had a private practice.

I have been very ill for the last ten years and only recently have been feeling much better. I have spent my time staying the center stone of my extended family which is so much larger than I ever imagined. This has been very rewarding and I would recommend doing so to anyone our age.

I am proud to have been part of our class and to able to say "I went to Central High School; and of course, they gave us a BA. when we graduated." The things that we have collectively achieved are both impressive,meaningful and long lasting. We have had the honor of "giving back to society

One of my favorite school stories is when I decided that we should all be able to wear shorts during the day at Central. I remember coming to school on a frosty February day in bright shorts and staging a sit-in. From that day on we were permitted to wear shorts. Remember that?

I remember being in two pseudo fist fights but no fists were thrown.My last aggressive act outside of that was with my older bro.
