Alan Perlberg

I have been living in the SF Bay area since 1974, first in San Francisco and since 2005 in Oakland. I am in good health, in love with my amazing wife, and passionate about life. As a school-based learning specialist/ educational therapist, I have worked with under-served students, focusing on early literacy skills. My pastimes include making music, doing yoga, theater-going, gardening, hiking, camping, and reading. Lisa and I have recently retired. I will continue to work with students at my school as a volunteer and to expand my other areas of volunteer service. Additionally, we plan on doing more traveling both in this country and beyond.
