Joel, what more can one say. You did indeed captured the essence of your soulmate.
Many of my memories of Terry, obviously included you, whether Leeds, CHS, SAR, or just hanging out as we did. Your home was always a cherished spot to enjoy Terry's prescence.
One memory in particular( I hope I got this correct,it was Terry and not you)
One of the SAR events in Levitown ,we met 2 girls ,and believe we each got to second base in darkended corners of the rooms. We then decided to continue our romantic escapade, taking a train to meet our lovely ladies. We both shared English Leather cologne on the train ride ,and share our fantasies of how things would evolve.
Our hormones were raging as we got off the train, and there they were, waiting for us with endearing smiles and low cut bluses. We went to one of their homes, expecting a repeat performance, hopefuly extending our 2 base hit ,into a triple.
We were iintroduced to the parents of the home,as well as siblings, and spent the next two-three hours being chaperoned while watching TV. We never got a chance to swing at a fastball down the middle, and spent the 90 minutes on the train ride home, laughing at how our best "laid" plans , cost us $6.75 of train fare.
Terry, that ever present smile and warmth will be missed, indeed
With Love

Eliot and I ( I believe with Ken Finkel),attended Sesame Day Camp at the age of 6-10. I was living near Broad and Allegheny over my parents Hardware store at the time.During this time ,my BFF was Paul Lobosco ( another surprise to see in 228).
It was a big surprise when I got to Central to see them both. Elliot lived on fringes of Mt.Airy( Tulpehocken St.??). We played cards together and always reminisced at reunions. Very Sad indeed..a funny guy..lots of laughs.
As Commisioner of The Church Lot....B will be posthumously inducted into the Hall of Fame. B was one of the original founding members of the Church lot ,playing in the inaugral 1963-64 season. A hard nosed line backer ,his offensive prowess as a full back intiated the infamous play call " Hey Diddle Diddle..B up the middle"
As a fellow Mt Airy guy, I enjoyed playing cards, wiffle ball ,and just "shooting the shit" with B. Those rosy cheeks and rotund habitus will be missed.
He never graduated with the 228,but was always considered a loyal member of our class
R.I.P.

The CHURCHLOT VETERANS COMMITTE has posthumously inducted Hyman (NOT JEREMY) Nowak into the Hall of Fame and retired his number 55. His induction plaque reads:
"Hyman's tenacity and no nonsense play as a powerful fullback and hard hitting linebacker earned him the respect of his fellow Churchlotters"
I will personally miss that wit and dry sense of humor. He always made me laugh every time i ws in his presence
