Hello Wayne! It is with great pleasure that I have read all of the posts sent your way. I don't know of anyone that has received so many. Everyone remembers the same things about you: kindness,intelligence and always your smile. As the QB that received snaps from you everyday during three years of varsity football and as your fellow co-captain senior year, I can attest for your athleticism and desire to help make us a winning team. I can also remember how your on field and off field demeanor were very opposite. I felt that I shared that trait with you, as well. Sadly, I have attended Bob Cullman's ("Slick") and Ed Veith"s (Zeus) funerals. They both were very instrumental in helping to shape who we were and still are. I was fortunate to return to Central in 1998 and teach Physical Ed. and coach baseball and soccer. I always strived to carry on the great traditions of our school in the same manner that our coaches instilled in us.
I also searched for you and found information but never a way to make contact. I am very happy to read about you but would truly enjoy seeing you again. It would be special if you could attend our 50th because you were a major part in making the "8" great and representing Central High School.
