I ran the family business, Medley Music of Bryn Mawr, PA, until it closed at the end of 2008. I was a past Chairman of the Board of NAMM, the International Music Products Association. I'm currently the VP of Strategic Management of Sweetwater Sound in Fort Wayne, IN.
I was remarried in 2008... and discovered all that I had been missing. Life is good!
A favorite Central teacher was Mr. Irv Soslow. He became a fairly regular customer when I owned Medley Music. He would bring in his clarinet for repairs occasionally, and I was thrilled to have the chance to tell a former teacher what a great impact he had on me. When a fair amount of time had elapsed and I didn't see him, I called his house to check on him. Sadly, he had passed. RIP
