Gary Silverman was an excellent artist back in the day at Central. There weren’t too many of us in the Art Studio on the third floor in the late-1960s. Gary was technically much better than me so he kept me on my toes. I lost contact with him after he went off to Carnegie Mellon but I found out later that he became a toy designer working for top companies. He was a really nice guy to work alongside in the time I knew him.
