I knew Dennis from Cooke Jr.High. Great sense of humor, loyal friend, a truly nice guy. Very sad to find out of his passing. Rest in peace, my friend - Scott Gould.
Dennis always had an intuitive understanding of math and I considered him far brighter than me. We shared many an afternoon in Student Tutors and he would occasionally refer, without details, to the problems he faced getting to CHS. I wish I could recall why the nickname "Suitcase" arose - I suspect it was before CHS. As I recall he was going to attend the 20th reunion, but passed away around that time. I still feel the loss of not staying in touch.
Dennis was such a great guy. While we were never close friends, I recall his first rate disposition. The lowlight of the 20th reunion was finding out about his passing.
